About.

Books read last year

50

Hello, my name is Lael Davis. I am a Computer Science (CS) student at George Mason University. I created this blog to not only try to explain what I learn, but also to share and connect with people through content involving computer science and AI. I would like to share my experiences and pass along some of the things I have learned through trial and error.

Some of the topics I cover is Computer Science, Software Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, Philosophy and Psychology. I am curious about the mind involving both biological and artificial neural networks. I believe the path forward is to improve technological problems as well as problems pertaining to humanity.

A lot of the books that I read vary and give me different insights into viewing the mind and the way we see things. I try to research much of the content and am still a novice, so please send corrections or any further advice. I will try to post every week. I'll also recommend some books down below that I've enjoyed reading. If anyone has any questions or commments, feel free to let me know. You can contact me by email located down below.

Books planned this year

53

"I'd rather have 1% of the effort of 100 men that 100% of my own effort."
-J.Paul Getty.

One thing I like about social media and the internet is the ability to "share" content and reach audiences outside of yourself. If you gain something valuable or useful, please share it with at least two other people and encourage them to share with two of their friends. This process will spread exponentially and could help more people than I ever could on my own. And as mentioned earlier, send things my way if you can; I love learning new techniques and methods.

So all I ask is that if I have helped you in any way, just try to do one thing for me: pay it forward.
